SALES OFFICER – PORT MORESBY BRANCH

Based in POM and reporting to the Team Leader POM, this is an exciting frontline role within the organisation responsible for ensuring that sales targets are achieved and excellent customer service standards are maintained on our front counter, via email and over the phone, while meeting personal monthly sales target and contributing to the branch’s overall performance.

Duties include:

Serve customers at the front counter in a timely and professional manner;

Actively engage and network with new and existing clients in your customer portfolios via email, phone, SMS text messaging, social media, and in person to ensure all possible sales leads are secured;

Develop effective calling plans and contact your existing customers and potential new customers on a regular basis to grow your lending portfolio by marketing NF’s products and promotional campaigns;

Process loan applications in a timely and effective manner;

Establish strong relationships with Government and approved Private Company Payroll Officers and HR Managers to ensure that ISDAs and PVAs are actioned correctly and swiftly;

Assist customers to understand and complete loan applications correctly;

Work cohesively with your Team Leader and colleagues to achieve branch sales targets;

Address customer enquiries, suggestions and grievances and take advantage of opportunities to sell the company’s products;

Maintain a strong working relationship with colleagues, management, and other NF business units within the company;

Identify defaulting loan accounts and work with the Team Leader to address and rectify these accounts; and

Any other duties as required by your manager.

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Business with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a sales role
  • Credible personal character and be of sober habits
  • Proven sales performance in the finance industry
  • Computer literate with advanced MS Office skills
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be well presented and take pride in their personal appearance and hygiene
  • Be highly motivated and be prepared to go the extra mile when required
  • Have high level planning skills and be able to set and adhere to a calling program
